Are you tired of your refrigerator not cooling your food and drinks like it should?

RV refrigerators don't use a compressor instead using heat, either from an electric heating element or an LP-gas flame. The heat starts a chemical reaction, and evaporation and condensation cause the refrigerator to cool.

The heat created by the cooling process is trapped in the narrow space behind the refrigerator.

In theory - fresh cooling air suppose to enter through the lower access panel and remove the hot air out through the upper access panel or roof vent. But there is not enough airflow in hot summer day's, which will drastically reducing the efficiency of the fridge!

Here is an easy solution: The best way to increase the cooling efficiency is to install two 12-Volt DC circulation fans at the back of the fridge and a thermostat to switch the fans ON and OFF when needed.

This kit will lower the temperatures inside the refrigerator, decrease the time to reach the desired temperature and boosts the performance by up to 40%.

Our setup will remove the heat from the back of your fridge (not just spinning the already hot air around...)!

Note: With our setup - you don't need to pull the fridge out for the fan installation, simply open the access panel on the outside of your RV...

Where should I install the two fans and the ON/OFF Thermostat?

You could install both fans behind the top vent to blow the hot air outside. Alternatively, you could mount both fans behind the bottom vent to pull fresh air inside; this is an excellent solution if you have a top-vent on the roof!
Moreover, you could install one fan on top and the other on the bottom vent, another excellent method to increase the efficiency of your fridge.

The thermostat should be installed on a hot place somewhere above the condenser (the black metal part with fins, located on the upper part of the fridge). Use a self-sticking base plate and a tie-wrap (wire tie) to attach it to the back of the refrigerator.
