The new stainless steel submersible water pump is a convenient solution to transfer fresh water from a mountain creek or store into your RV!

That is a perfect solution for the devoted camping lover. The stainless steel pump is custom made for applianceandair with a unique 3/8" nipple for a small size hose, 9 Feet power cord with a cigarette lighter plug and an ON/OFF switch.

We're often camping in the North Georgia Blue Ridge mountains. We enjoy boondocking on a semi-developed camping place in the National Forest, avoiding the annoying crowd on overloaded spots.
Of course, we need to bring enough fresh water with us for our daily use. We have three 7-gallon water tanks in the back of our Tahoe, ready to fill up at a service station or even better - from a sparkling mountain creek.
Once the camper is set up, we have to raise the 7-gallon tanks (60 lb each) and pour the water into a funnel inserted in the freshwater inlet on our camper. Lifting 60 lb is not very healthy for your back and not very smart either.
I bought a 12V water pump as recommended on many RV forums. That worked fine for a while until the pump quit self-priming.
When this happens, you need to add water into the suction hose to start priming and immediately place the tube back in the tank. Maybe you missed the critical moment, and you need to try it again and again.
We love to collect our fresh water from a sparkling clean mountain creek. And again - no suction at the hose inlet, the pump runs dry and needs priming. God knows how many hours I spent to prime my "self-priming" pumps...
Frustrated with this experience, you may spend once more some 80 dollars for a new pump, to go through the same disappointment again. I throw away three water-pumps before realizing that they are not the right solution.

My advice - stay away from self-priming pumps,
the rubber impeller stops working in a short time because of aging, heat or dry-running.
Use our custom made submersible transfer pump to solve this annoying task forever!
And don't worry, this pump can run dry all day long without any impact!
ATTENTION: Most submersible pumps are built to use a regular water hose.
Don't use a regular water hose to transfer fresh water; they are too bulky, kink easily and are hard to clean (the moist inside is a perfect home for bacteria in our warm climate)!
·      Our custom made pump comes with a 3/8" (9 mm) hose barb to fit a clear vinyl hose or get a clear 3/8" food grade tubing that is easy to handle, don't kink and twist and don't use much precious storage room! (Tubing not included in this order)
·      To power the pump ON - use a cigarette lighter plug on a car jump-starter.
·      Included is a 9 feet power cord with an inline ON/OFF switch and a standard 12 V DC car lighter plug. If you'd instead want to use battery clamps - get a clamp to cigarette lighter-plug conversion in any hardware store.
·      The motor is sealed in a stainless steel housing with just 2" diameter to fit through an official camper water tank opening like the 7 gallons Aqua-Tainer.
·      A stainless steel filter keeps any debris away.
·      The pump works up to five feet in height and transfers eight gallons per minute (without inclining height).

Getting fresh water out of a mountain creek: just place the RV transfer pump in the water, don't worry about clogging up, the stainless steel intake screen keeps unwanted particles away...
Transfer fresh water into your RV: Sink the RV transfer pump into your 6-gallon jug and insert the hose to your RV water inlet, turn the switch ON and... enjoy a cold drink while the pump fills up your RV tank!

Transfer water to the RV holding tank

Camping water jugs hold about 6 to 7 gallons, that's about 60 lb.
Don't try to lift this, it's by far too heavy for you! Sadly - this is a common method to hurt your back and joints!
